A c. 1894 Leg O'Mutton Bodice

The hooks and eyes are sewn on very securely. The stitches for them catch the lining, but do not come through to the outside. Both the green fabric and lining have been turned back for a facing. The center front of the lining is cut on the selvage.

Details of the boning

More boning details. Since there's no center back seam, the center back bone is just sewn to the lining.

The cuffs are faced with green fabric.

A detail of the neck binding. It's sewn right side to the right side of the bodice, turned to the inside, and slipstitched into place.
